Kids Sunday School

Every Sunday we offer Sunday School classes for kids from 3 years old through High School Age. Sunday School meets every Sunday morning at 10:15 a.m. (after Worship) while school is in session. Parents are asked to sign up their children and then they will be shown to their age appropriate classroom.

Our Safe Sanctuary certified teaching staff care for these kids and want to teach them curricula that fosters a love of Jesus Christ.

All children are welcome to come and see what Centenary Sunday School has to offer.

Cloud Nine Nursery

While we love the sound of children in our worship services, we also know that sometimes the need arises for the little ones to leave the Sanctuary. Cloud Nine is the perfect place for them to go so you can continue to worship and learn while your child stays in a safe, friendly environment with Nursery staff certified in Safe Sanctuary.

Located on the main level of the church, just down the hall from the Sanctuary, the Cloud Nine Nursery offers child care for kids aged birth to 4. It's available on Sunday mornings from 8:45 a.m. until the end of Sunday School.

Stocked with toys, games, snacks, and changing equipment, your child will enjoy their morning. And you will have the peace of mind that comes from knowing your dear one is well taken care of.

Confirmation

Youth in seventh grade are invited to be a part of our Confirmation class. We will meet for twelve weeks beginning after Ash Wednesday on Sunday mornings from 10:15 - 11:30 a.m.

Junior Youth Group

Our Junior Youth Group, for youth in grades 2 through 5, meets on the third Sunday of the month from September to May from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall. There is an activity, a Bible lesson and a snack.

Vacation Bible School

Once a year, children from all over the area are welcomed into our church for Vacation Bible School. Featuring a different theme every year, this is offered to all children from three years old to fifth grade.

We offer games, activities, art projects, food, and good times as children from all walks of life come together to learn about Jesus Christ.

Sign up is required for our Vacation Bible School, so please watch this website for more information and links to our registration forms. Remember, everyone is welcome. We know you'll have a great time.

Youth Group

Wednesday nights are set aside for the Youth of our church. The Youth Group meets, plays, learns, and enjoys fellowship together in a safe, structured environment. Meetings consist of Bible study and worship time, as well as fun activities, games, and food. Each month we also sponsor an off-site activity such as roller skating, zip lining, and even trips to Holiday World.

The Youth Group also attends retreats sponsored by the Illinois Great Rivers Conference. These provide opportunities for spiritual growth as well as connection with other youth throughout Illinois. All youth grades six through twelve can attend.
